My Bio I was pried from the paws of my loving mother some time in the Spring of 1996, which makes me about 7+ years young. Thinking I was going to a warm comfortable house I instead found myself trapped inside a sailboat, which I now must admit has its benefits. As soon as I was old enough this guy who took me away from my Mom began putting me in the water and telling me to sink or swim. I finally caught on and realized that the torture would stop when I swam to this piling thing and climbed out on my own. My learning curve improved drastically the day that alligator swam into the marina. The bath I had to endure after swimming in the Bayou was like double punishment. I guess I passed, because after 5 lessons swimming school was over. The rest of the time I just hung out in the Marina while the Captain worked to keep me in food and litter. The best days were in the summer when the Point Loma Fishing Fleet went out in the Gulf. When they returned and began cleaning their catch I diligently sat behind the boats to devour the little hunks of fish they threw me. Now I am retired, just hanging out with the Captain all day, sunning myself and being cute. I get that from all the people who walk by and say, "what a cute kitty". |
